- Financial Reporting and Analysis — you will study main financial reporting systems IFRS and GAAP. This course also covers key financial documents, working capital and long-term asset analysis
- Quantitative Methods in Finance — this course covers probability theory, time value of money, correlation analysis and regression
- Financial Markets: FX, Debt and Equity Market — we will dive into the modern currency market functioning, cryptocurrencies, hedging and arbitration techniques, stock market infrastructure
- Corporate Finance — you will comprehend corporate management, dividend policies, investment decision-making
- Portfolio Management — you will learn about investment portfolio management for individuals and legal entities. This course has a separate chapter about retirement plan and bonus packages analysis
- Alternative Investments — you will have a look at real estate investments, venture capital, Private banking, hedge funds, non-marketable securities and goods value assessment
- Derivatives and Financial Engineering — you will study derivatives, including forward contracts, futures, options, swaps, credit derivatives, structured products, as well as the corresponding markets' infrastructure and pricing issues
- CFA Ethic & Professional Standards — you will adopt CFA ethics and professional standards, which are necessary to work in the modern financial market.
It depends on the results of the admission exam, which is your portfolio. We welcome everyone who is interested in finance, economics, mathematics and modelling. And if you want to strengthen your knowledge before applying, try our open online courses
B1 is the minimal level for you to be comfortable with our program. Of course there’s no problem if you make mistakes. If you feel uneasy about asking questions in English out loud, you are always welcome to write in the webinar chat.
In our Master’s degree, you can study at any time of your convenience. You will be informed about real-time seminars and project sessions beforehand, most lectures are pre-recorded. So you can plan your studies according to your personal schedule.
You will have real-time seminars, project sessions and masterclasses. You are welcome to talk to the teachers in class and also communicate with the course assistants via our platform and messengers.
You will receive HSE’s official Master’s diploma, specialty 38.04.08 Finance and Credit with a supplement in English. It will not be specified that you studied online.
Tuition fees are split in 4 payments, one before each semester. You make your first payment as you sign your contract before enrolling.
Our Master’s degree takes 2 academic years to complete, this duration is fixed.
You don’t have to come to campus, all our communication with the students is done online. Your thesis defense will also be held online.
